The Friesland route is a very diverse route; broad waters, narrow canals and rivers, open lakes. Along cute little towns and villages, like for instance Dokkum, the northern-most of the Netherlands, or Leeuwarden, the capital of our province, where you can spend the night in the Prinsentuin. Exciting and fun to do is the passage through Wergea.
This route is very suitable for beginners. The first days you will be sailing on broad water and encounter no locks. As the route progresses and you gain experience, your skills will grow each day.
